I’ve been receiving persistent WhatsApp messages from numbers starting with +44, which I’ve confirmed belong to the United Kingdom. Although I block each one, they keep contacting me from new numbers. I have absolutely no connection to the UK—no family, no friends, no business relationships.
This repeated contact is deeply disturbing and feels like harassment. I’m extremely concerned about the possibility that my number is being circulated or misused, and I want to make it very clear: I will not accept responsibility for any fraudulent activity or unauthorized use tied to my phone number.
If any legal, financial, or criminal issues arise involving these unknown contacts, WhatsApp will be fully responsible. I also want to stress that the number of suspicious accounts messaging me is increasing, which suggests a broader security issue on WhatsApp’s platform.
I demand WhatsApp investigate these unauthorized foreign messages, secure my account, and take immediate action to stop this type of activity. Users have a right to feel safe and protected on messaging platforms.
