I Keep Getting Calls from +254 Numbers on WhatsApp and I’m Worried About My Security
Lately, I’ve been receiving unwanted voice and video calls on WhatsApp from numbers starting with the +254 country code, which I discovered belongs to Kenya. I have no connection to this region and don’t know the callers, so I’ve chosen not to answer and have blocked them immediately.
Still, I am very uncomfortable with the fact that unknown international users can reach me this easily, especially through voice and video. I am concerned that these calls could be part of a larger attempt to access my accounts without permission or lead to potential financial or emotional harm.
Let me be absolutely clear: I hold WhatsApp fully responsible for any unauthorized access, privacy violations, or losses caused by these suspicious foreign calls. My number and account security should be protected without me having to deal with this kind of threat.
WhatsApp, I demand immediate action. Strengthen your platform's security against unknown and international harassment, and ensure users like me are not left exposed to these risks. This is an official complaint and will be used as evidence if needed.
