I Received a Suspicious WhatsApp Call from an Indian Number Without Any Prior Connection

I received an unsolicited call on WhatsApp from a number beginning with +91, which I later confirmed is from India. I live in Turkey and have absolutely no business, legal, or personal connection with anyone in India. This unexpected call deeply disturbed me, raising serious concerns that my personal information may have been accessed or shared without my consent.

The moment I noticed the call, I immediately blocked the number and used WhatsApp’s built-in report function to flag the incident. Although I have not yet detected any suspicious activity on my account, the fact that this call happened at all is unsettling. It makes me question how securely my information is being handled on WhatsApp’s platform.

I am demanding that WhatsApp conduct a thorough investigation into this issue to determine how this number was able to reach me. Additionally, I expect a clear and transparent explanation regarding whether my account data has been shared with or accessed by any third parties. Users deserve peace of mind when it comes to the security of their personal information. Please take this matter seriously and provide a proper resolution.
