I received an unexpected WhatsApp call from a number with the +91 country code, which I later identified as belonging to India. I have no personal or professional connection to anyone from that country, and this call made me feel extremely uncomfortable and suspicious.
Immediately after receiving the call, I blocked the number and used the report feature within WhatsApp. Still, I’m very concerned about the security of my account and personal information.
Let me make this absolutely clear: If my WhatsApp account, phone number, or any associated data is accessed, used, or compromised in any way—whether it involves identity theft, unauthorized purchases, company registrations, or debt under my name—I will accept no responsibility. In such a case, WhatsApp will bear full legal and ethical responsibility for failing to protect its users from suspicious international activity.
