How Can I Stop Unsolicited Calls on WhatsApp from a Foreign Number
On November 8, 2024, at 11:56 PM, I received a voice call on WhatsApp from a foreign number with the country code +237 651 31 56 18. After researching online, I discovered that this number is linked to Cameroon. I have no connections—personal or business-related—with this country. I immediately blocked the number, but I am deeply uncomfortable with this situation and am filing a complaint.
I am particularly concerned about the misuse of my account information, including my phone number, photos, videos, and other personal data. Should any unauthorized actions, such as fraudulent transactions, debt claims, or company registrations under my name, occur, I hold WhatsApp fully responsible. I request immediate clarification and stronger security measures to prevent such incidents.
