Concern Over Data Privacy After WhatsApp Call From +91 Country Code

While using WhatsApp, about 20 minutes ago, I received a call through the app from a foreign number with the +91 country code. After researching online, I learned that +91 belongs to India, and I have no personal or business relationship with this country. This situation seriously disturbed me, and I immediately blocked the number.

I am concerned about the possibility of my account information being compromised, my phone number being used without authorization, or my private information, messages, or photos being accessed by unauthorized parties. I am also worried about potential misuse such as companies being established in my name, purchases being made, or debts being incurred using my identity.

My request to WhatsApp is that my account and phone number be thoroughly reviewed for security, and that additional security measures be implemented to prevent users from being disturbed by such foreign and unregistered numbers. I especially request that calls from unknown and suspicious numbers be blocked, or at least that users be given the option to restrict them through customizable settings.
