Today, my friend received 200 Euros from France via Western Union. We went to an agent in Esenyurt Meydan, and a young employee attempted to process the transaction. However, we encountered an error. The system mentioned something about an MTCN, which we didn’t understand. We contacted customer service, and the first representative told us the money was ready and we could try again, but we still couldn’t withdraw it. We called customer service again, and they said the money had been withdrawn. When I asked the representative, who had limited Turkish, who took the money, they couldn’t provide that information. I ended the call and spoke to another representative, who said the money was refunded. However, the other party received a message saying the money was withdrawn. After another call, we were told the refund would be processed within 1 to 3 weeks or that we might have to try withdrawing it again. This situation is unacceptable. Thousands of people like me are stuck waiting for their money, and we will consider legal action if necessary.
