Vodafone Engages in Deceptive Advertising and Customer Service Anger




I recently received a call from Vodafone customer service as my commitment to the Red 40GB entertainment package was about to end. They offered a special deal to renew with 40GB of internet and unlimited social media apps. However, within 10 days, almost all my data was used up. In a conversation with customer service, they admitted there were charges for social media not included in my 40GB plan. Despite assurances of resolution, the issue persisted. Upon further inquiry, I was told by another representative that my Red 40GB plan only covered communication, including Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. The conflicting information and lack of a timely solution are frustrating. I was advised to wait, but considering the ongoing issues, I'm hesitant to continue and face a hefty cancellation fee of 361 TL when I switch operators. I wish I had not continued with Vodafone and incurred additional costs, leaving me in this unfortunate situation.
