Viagogo Refuses to Refund or Resell My E*** S**** Concert Ticket
I purchased a ticket for the E* S**** concert** on Viagogo without knowing much about their policies. However, I later realized that I would not be in Istanbul on that date, so I tried to return the ticket for a refund. Unfortunately, Viagogo informed me that refunds are not possible but that I could resell my ticket through their platform.
I followed their instructions and listed my ticket for resale. But I never received any notification about whether my ticket was sold, nor was I refunded. How is this possible? I highly doubt that my ticket remained unsold, yet Viagogo keeps my money without providing a valid reason.
I understand that Viagogo takes a €15 fee if the ticket is sold, but if it remains unsold, why do they keep my money? This is completely unfair and unethical.
I demand an immediate resolution—either confirmation that my ticket was sold or a full refund if it wasn’t. This is blatant profiteering! Consumers should be aware of this practice, and I strongly advise against buying tickets from Viagogo. If this issue is not resolved, I will pursue further action.
I want Viagogo to really prove that my ticket wasn't sold. I saw images of the concert on social media, and the venue was packed. I repeat, the likelihood of my ticket not being sold is very, very low.
