While browsing Viagogo’s website, I was simply checking the total price for concert tickets. Without my authorization or clicking a payment button, they charged my card ₺228,000 for the tickets. When I contacted them to cancel, they claimed their policy does not allow cancellations and suggested I resell the tickets. However, they required a ₺25,000 commission fee to list the tickets, meaning I’d need to set the price at least ₺250,000 to break even.
Initially, the ticket price displayed was ₺218.57, but it seems they misrepresented the total without showing any confirmation screen. To make matters worse, upon further investigation, I found out the event doesn’t even exist. I immediately blocked my card and filed a dispute with my bank, but no resolution has been reached. Viagogo must refund my money immediately and stop these deceptive practices. This experience has been an absolute breach of trust.
