I am writing regarding a ban imposed on my access to the web version of uMingle, with the reason listed as “explicit messages” and Ban ID 0d0e29ac. I use uMingle without creating an account or signing in, so the restriction appears to have been applied to my IP address or device. I believe this situation is the result of a misunderstanding. During a conversation, another user was asking for relationship advice, and I used the Italian term “scopamico,” meaning “friends with benefits,” only to describe the situation they were discussing. The term was not used as a sexual advance, was not directed at the other user as a proposal, and was not intended to be vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate. My intention was purely descriptive and related to the advice being given. I kindly request that you review the full context of the conversation and the messages surrounding this term, as this will show that I acted in good faith and did not intend to send explicit content or violate uMingle’s rules. I respectfully ask that the ban applied to my IP address or device be removed and that my access to the service be restored without requiring payment for the Instant Unban option, as I believe the restriction is unjustified under these circumstances.
