I Face Umingle Safety Failure During User Overdose Emergency
I am writing regarding a very serious and urgent situation I experienced while using the Umingle website. I was on a call with another user who sounded like he was overdosing and talking about self-harm. It was clear to me that he was in immediate danger and needed urgent help. This call took place today at around 4:00 PM (GMT+7) on May 4.
I am located in a different country/region, so I was not able to contact local emergency services on his behalf. Additionally, I could not find any clear or direct way on Umingle to reach support, report an emergency, or access crisis resources. In such a critical situation, the lack of visible and accessible support options made me feel completely helpless and deeply concerned for his safety.
I expect Umingle to take this issue very seriously and urgently implement clear emergency and crisis support features on the platform. There should be an obvious way to report self-harm or overdose situations in real time to a responsible team, along with visible links or contact information for crisis hotlines and emergency assistance.
I ask Umingle to review and improve its safety systems to ensure that users are not left without support during life-threatening situations like this in the future.
