Uber's Lack Of Support

I had booked a ride to Antalya airport, scheduled for 0450, to catch a flight. Unfortunately, the driver did not arrive on time as expected, upon inquiry and messaging him, he informed me that he had mistakenly gone to the airport instead of my designated pickup location. As a result of the driver's error, I missed my flight and incurred significant additional expenses, including the cost of rebooking a flight at short notice. This not only caused inconvenience but also financial strain. Despite canceling the booking upon the driver's suggestion, I am disappointed that I was still charged for the ride. It occurred on: 21/04/2024 Furthermore, the lack of prompt and effective customer support exacerbates my dissatisfaction with Uber's service. I request a full refund for the ride and reimbursement for the expenses l incurred due to this incident. I expect Uber to take responsibility for the actions of its drivers and provide adequate compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss caused. Please respond to this complaint promptly and provide details on how Uber intends to address these issues. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and work towards a satisfactory resolution.

This is the response I got from the company "As mentioned, we have previously 1. Minimized the chances of you being matched with this partner driver again 2. Fully refunded the cancellation fee We can only refund charges that have been made through our app, and unfortunately not transactions that have been made outside of our platform. As there are no further actions that can be taken here, we won’t be able to respond to further messages on this issue." The action of their driver cost me near 200 GPB
