I Report Pending Charges For Canceled Uber Rides Remaining In Authorization
Last June, I faced an issue with 2 Uber rides that were canceled, but the payment authorizations still appear as pending on my account. Normally, such provisional charges should be removed within 6 to 8 hours, yet despite several days passing, these transactions remain unresolved in the authorization status.
This situation is highly frustrating because the canceled rides should not result in any ongoing holds on my funds. It is unacceptable for an international brand like Uber to leave users’ money on hold for this long, causing unnecessary financial inconvenience.
I expect Uber to immediately investigate this issue and remove these pending transactions from my account. I also request clear communication regarding why this delay happened and what steps will be taken to prevent such delays in the future.
Please resolve this matter without further delay and ensure that my funds are released back to my account promptly.
