Uber Charged Me for a Canceled Ride
I accidentally requested a ride on Uber and canceled it right away, but they still charged me. I didn’t take the ride, yet the fare was withdrawn from my account as if the trip happened. I’m a student, and this isn’t the first time Uber has done this to me. It’s extremely frustrating to keep losing money for rides I never took.
I depend on Uber often, but these constant charges for canceled or incomplete trips are unacceptable. I can’t afford to throw away money like this—especially when I follow all the rules and cancel immediately.
Uber, please refund the money you wrongly charged me. Stop billing users for rides they didn’t take. I expect fair treatment and a prompt resolution to this issue.
