Uber Eats Driver Ignored Parking Rules at Shopping Mall and Responded With Insults

On June 2, 2026, at around 8:30 PM, an Uber Eats courier riding a motorcycle with license plate 34 HKB 903 arrived at TRC Göztepe Shopping Mall to pick up a package order. I work at the mall as a security officer.
Instead of parking in the designated motorcycle parking area, the courier parked the motorcycle on the mall's pedestrian walkway. Even before the courier dismounted, I clearly informed them that this area is a shared public space within the mall and is not an appropriate place to park — and the warning was completely disregarded.
In response to my warning, the courier said, in effect, "Go ahead and complain to whoever you want. Bring your supervisor, bring your manager — I'll park wherever I like." This response was deeply disrespectful both to me personally and to the institution I represent.
I am requesting that Uber Eats conduct a proper investigation into this incident, apply disciplinary measures against the courier in question, and make it explicitly clear to this individual that this kind of behavior is absolutely not tolerated by the company. Being spoken to this way while simply doing my job and reminding someone of the rules is unacceptable, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously.
I am asking that the necessary action be taken and that I be informed of the outcome.
