Turna.com Booking Error Cost Me Flight and Extra Expenses – Seeking Compensation

I had been a loyal user of Turna.com until a recent experience left me extremely disappointed. On October 14, 2024, I paid ₺935.17 for a flight from Ankara Esenboğa to Antalya Gazipaşa with Atlas Jet, scheduled for 12:10 AM. However, upon reaching the airport, I was informed that no such flight existed and my name wasn’t on any passenger list. I immediately contacted Turna, and their representative told me I'd receive information the following day. The next day, I was told that my payment had been received, but the ticket was never issued, and the amount would be refunded within two business days (which it was).
Not only did I miss an important meeting, but I also incurred a ₺1,500 taxi expense late at night, as I was unaware of the issue in advance. I requested that Turna reimburse me for the taxi cost, given that I was not informed beforehand. However, they refused, claiming they weren’t responsible for the failed booking. It’s surprising that such an established company failed to notify a customer promptly about a ticketing issue. I am hoping Turna addresses this matter swiftly and provides a satisfactory response before I escalate my complaint to relevant authorities.
Progress

Despite informing the officials at turna.com about the problem I experienced on 14.10.2024, they kept me waiting by saying they would call me, and ultimately there has been no progress. In my opinion, this is extremely unprofessional behavior. In this situation, I am deleting the Turna app from my phone and wishing them success in their business endeavors. The star rating I will give is 0.
