Turkish Airlines Ticket Issue: Denied Boarding
Hello, on March 27th, today, I purchased a ticket for my sister using my own card for the 11:40 AM flight through the Turkish Airlines system. While buying the ticket online, my card was initially blocked for internet transactions, so I enabled it for online shopping through the mobile app. Simultaneously, Turkish Airlines charged the ticket fee without an approval code. Today, when my sister went to Sinop Airport, she was asked to present the physical card or I had to go to the airport to present it to the agency. They spoke mockingly, saying 'You won't make it anyway.' Since neither option was possible, my sister was not allowed to board the plane, resulting in the ticket being wasted. I ask, how correct is it to charge the card without an approval code and then deny boarding? If so, why is the ticket issued without an approval code? I am complaining about not being allowed to board the plane, the ticket being wasted for a ridiculous reason at Sinop Airport, the loss of time causing me to fall behind at work, and the psychological and financial strain it caused me and my pregnant sister. I request a refund of the ticket fee charged without an approval code due to all these issues.
