Turkish Airlines Refused Our Boarding, Compensation Necessary

On November 12, 2023, during my flight from Ankara to Budapest with a layover at SAW, the plane experienced a delay of over 20 minutes in Ankara. Despite notifying the staff, we were assured there was no issue with our connecting flight departing from Istanbul. However, upon arriving at SAW and while there was still ample time for the flight to depart, my wife and I were abruptly removed from the passport control line in front of a police officer without any explanation. Without any clarification, we were excluded from our connecting flight, even though the issue had no relation to the airline (Turkish Airlines). As a result, our accommodation arrangements in Budapest fell through. Due to your mistakes, we had to incur additional expenses to rebook our reservations. This journey resulted in numerous expenses and ended in disappointment. Despite all these problems, we experienced sleep deprivation and hunger at IGA, and the incident we witnessed before the flight left us in shock. At Istanbul Airport, Turkish Airlines representatives informed us that if we flew with the 7:00 PM flight, they would compensate us in euros and provide a new ticket. They asked people to sell their tickets. You fail to address flight delays, leaving us as victims, and you seize our rights without questioning or approval while claiming to resolve the issue by apologizing. We faced problems at the airport, unable to find anyone to assist us, and the Turkish Airlines staff we spoke to said there was nothing we could do. We demand compensation for our ticket, just as we witnessed at IGA due to the troubles caused during the flight. However, the responses we received are further shocking. Unacceptable proposals like "we can cover your expenses at the airport" are presented. I explained that we couldn't make such an expenditure as we waited for our other flight. Ultimately, the response was, "We can't help you," and the conversation was attempted to be closed. We know that Turkish Airlines resolves these mistakes by compensating passengers for their ticket costs. However, I see an attempt to close the matter by wearing us down. Due to this situation, I request the recognition of our grievances and the necessary actions to be taken. I am attaching two screenshots, one depicting the notifications we received when the plane landed at Sabiha Gokcen and the other representing the notifications received while expressing our concerns at the airport. The arrival information is from when we reached the hotel.
