Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation Due to Family Health Emergency
Turkish Airlines issue! We had to cancel our Skopje flight tickets because my father was hospitalized due to a serious illness. We contacted Turkish Airlines customer service to request a free refund, as it was impossible for us to travel while my father was in the hospital. The customer service directed us to the feedback center. We explained the situation in our first message to the feedback center, and they requested documents proving my father's health condition and our relationship. We obtained documents signed and stamped by the chief physician from the hospital. After extensive email exchanges and efforts with the feedback center, Turkish Airlines finally acknowledged my father's illness and sent their best wishes. However, they then rejected our request for a free refund, stating that our tickets were not eligible for a refund due to health reasons.
