Turkish Airlines Delays Leave Elderly Passengers Stranded
Hello. On May 28th, my parents Nezaket C. and Zamir M. flew from Baku to Luxembourg via Istanbul with a connecting flight scheduled from 11:45 to 17:30. Due to a delay in the flight from Baku to Istanbul, they missed their connecting flight to Luxembourg. No assistance was provided in response. Instead, they were asked for money (€1000) and shamelessly told that they would be rebooked for the next day. They were not provided with meals or accommodation and were kept waiting there until the next morning, despite being elderly (over 70 years old).
On June 24th, the return flight was also delayed by 3 hours. Consequently, they missed the connecting flight again. I never imagined Turkish Airlines' quality would deteriorate this much. At the very least, they should not treat elderly and sick people this way. Please investigate this situation.
