Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage and Is Making It Difficult to Get a Replacement

During my Senegal - Samsun flight with Turkish Airlines, my luggage suffered irreparable damage. The baggage handlers at Samsun Airport documented the incident, and it was clear that the damage was beyond repair. However, they made the process difficult by asking for a non-repairable report from a repair shop for a suitcase. I sent them the non-repairable report, but now, despite informing them that I reside in Amasya, they mockingly tell me to go to Samsun, hand in the old suitcase, and collect a new one. What kind of unprofessionalism and incompetence is this? If I were to travel from Amasya to Çarşamba Airport, I would spend the cost of a suitcase on fuel alone. So why should I waste both my money and time to come and collect a low-quality suitcase from you? I am addressing Turkish Airlines: you are causing people to suffer, you are not standing behind your mistakes, and you are mocking people. We have valued you, chosen you, and spent a significant amount of money on international and domestic round-trip tickets. We expect the same seriousness and importance from you. Please, take care of your customers who have chosen you and value them, so that you continue to be chosen. Turkish Airlines, this behavior does not suit you at all.
