Turkish Airlines Damaged My Baby Stroller but Didn’t Compensate It
On October 10, 2023, I took a Turkish Airlines flight from Antalya to Istanbul. Due to my suitcase being broken, they immediately provided a new one. After leaving the gate, I noticed that the canopy of my baby stroller was damaged and there were scratches on the shiny part, which I believe were caused by a hard object. I immediately filed an online report, but the email response stated that I needed to create a report before leaving the airport. However, I did not notice the damage while I was there. When I realized the damage after leaving and tried to return, I was told I could not pass through the gate again and that I could file an online report within 7 days. I promptly created the report within the same hour. I request Turkish Airlines to take responsibility for the damage they caused and compensate me. I am embarrassed to go out with the baby stroller; it has been 2 months. I kindly request my compensation to be paid.
They hit the shiny part with a hard object, otherwise it wouldn't be like this. Please compensate for my damage. The fact that I did not create a report at the airport does not mean that you will not pay compensation. I have the right to create a report online within 7 business days. The date I create the report is the same as my landing time, you need to take this into consideration as well.
