Turkish Airlines Charged ₺537 for Zero Service!
On April 10, 2024, I purchased a ticket from Turkish Airlines for the June 19 Trabzon to Istanbul flight. Upon payment, I realized I had mistakenly bought a ticket to Istanbul Airport instead of Sabiha Gokcen. I immediately contacted customer service within 10 minutes of purchase to cancel and rebook for Sabiha. Despite notifying them of the error and the fact that they could easily resell the ticket by June 19, they charged me a ₺537 penalty. I truly don't understand the reason. I acknowledge there are rules, but even after explaining the mistake, they insisted on charging me. Essentially, I received no service, yet the company profited ₺537 from me for nothing. I ended up donating ₺537. I cannot accept such absurdity. It makes no sense to me. I kindly request a refund.
