THY Ticket Cancellation Resulted In Excessive Fee Deduction
On July 2, 2024, I purchased tickets for 4 family members to fly from Izmir to Mardin on July 20, 2024. Due to a critical illness in the family, I decided to cancel our vacation and requested a ticket cancellation 14 days before the flight (I want to emphasize this). However, I was extremely upset by what I saw. From the ₺14500 I paid, ₺3500 was deducted. I explained that I am a military personnel and described the situation. But all I received were empty words about ticket standards and that nothing could be done. I don't want to use harsh words, but you leave me no choice. I risk my life to earn every single cent of that money. If it were the last day or even the last 3 days, you might have a point, but what is this deduction 14 days in advance? If you can't sell my canceled tickets within 14 days, let me know. I will refund your money. Shame on such a system...
