THY Lounge and Miles System Disappointment, Lack of Information and Alternatives
On April 1st, I spoke with the THY lounge staff before my Antalya-Sabiha Gokcen flight. They informed me that the Ajet Miles process had started, took my details for mileage credit after the flight, and based on this information, I took three more flights between Antalya and Sabiha Gokcen. Today, I learned that there is no mileage processing at all. I frequently fly between these airports, use my Miles&Smiles card to accumulate miles, and became an Elite member, but now I am told that Ajet is no longer part of the mileage system. Additionally, the lounge area has been removed from Sabiha Gokcen airport with no alternatives available. It's completely unfair to leave people stranded after enticing them with so many promotions to sell tickets. If I had been informed about this situation beforehand, I would have used different airlines.
