I had a contract with a Turkcell agency, and it was about to end. I wanted to sign a new contract that would be more financially suitable, but they didn’t offer any such option. So, I decided to switch to a different telecommunications provider. I contacted customer service and asked how I could end my contract without paying any extra fees and follow the proper procedure. We spoke clearly, and I expressed my understanding throughout the conversation. After we finished the call and ended the connection, Turkcell still automatically withdrew a payment from my account. I called customer service again and explained that I followed the correct procedure and the payment should not have been taken. They told me they would review the call recording. Even though I was in the right, the customer service analysis claimed that Turkcell was not at fault and refused to refund my payment. At this point, I am asking Turkcell to return the extra payment they took. They have caused me financial and psychological distress.
