For about 3 weeks, I have not been receiving the verification code SMS messages sent by Spor İstanbul to my Turkcell line. After my number porting and SIM change, I have been able to receive all other SMS messages without any issues; banks, other applications, and all services can send SMS to me successfully. The problem occurs only with the verification codes sent by Spor İstanbul.
I have contacted Turkcell customer service many times regarding this issue. Turkcell told me that the problem lies with Spor İstanbul. However, when I contacted Spor İstanbul, they stated that the issue is with the operator. In other words, both institutions are blaming each other, but my problem still has not been resolved and my grievance continues to grow.
Since Spor İstanbul’s verification system depends entirely on SMS, there is no alternative (no email, call, or manual verification options). Therefore, I have been unable to enter Spor İstanbul facilities, make reservations, or use their services—services I have been regularly benefiting from for a long time.
My request from Turkcell:
A technical review of the SMSC / delivery logs for the SMS messages sent by Spor İstanbul,
A short code / OTP SMS route check for my number,
Immediate resolution if my line is stuck in any technical filter, block, or routing error,
And clear information provided to me.
I have been suffering from this problem for 3 weeks, and it is unacceptable that no concrete solution has been produced yet. I request an urgent resolution.
