Unreachable After Switching From Vodafone to Turkcell
About three months ago, I ported my number from Vodafone to Turkcell. However, for the past two months, I have been facing a serious issue: when people using Vodafone lines try to call me, they hear a message saying “This number does not exist” and cannot reach me. As a result, I am missing important calls and experiencing significant inconvenience. I have reported this problem to Turkcell customer service multiple times, and while a request is created each time, no solution is ever provided. Calling customer service has almost become part of my weekly routine. Sometimes they claim, “We called you,” but despite me pointing out that the issue is precisely that I cannot be reached, no progress is made. Today they suggested I call 120 BTK, but BTK said the matter was not under their responsibility. Turkcell then told me again to contact Vodafone. Each side keeps shifting responsibility to the other, but my problem continues. While they have no trouble reaching me when it comes to billing, it is unacceptable that such a fundamental communication issue remains unresolved. I urgently request that this problem be fixed and that my line can be called without issues by Vodafone users as well.
Hello Mr. Mehmethan, We tried to reach you but were unable to. If your request is still ongoing, we kindly ask you to submit it in detail through the 'Help' section of the Turkcell app so that we can review it. You can use the Turkcell app for any needs you may have regarding our products and services. Best regards, Turkcell
Yes, I got through, but first you gave me 120, and now, even though my line is Turkcell, you’re telling me to call Vodafone. You don’t deserve a single cent of the money you take. No one provides a solution—always “call this, call that.” If I’m the one who has to do the calling, why am I paying a bill? Absolutely terrible.
