Turkcell Charges Me More for Mega 20GB Package Than New Customers
I have been a Turkcell postpaid customer for about 20 years, currently using the Mega+20GB package for which I pay ₺420 per month excluding taxes. The package includes 1000 minutes of talk time. However, new subscribers are offered the exact same package at much lower prices—for example, a new customer can get it for ₺200. Despite my long loyalty to Turkcell, existing customers are charged significantly more while newcomers enjoy special deals, which I find deeply unfair. I have shared this concern with customer service multiple times, but the only response I received was that “prices are set this way” and that the difference is due to “quality.” No real solution or alternative was provided. I cannot accept being treated as a second-class customer after years of loyalty. My expectation from Turkcell is that existing customers should also be offered the same affordable packages as new subscribers, and this discriminatory practice should end.

As Turkcell, we are working to provide you with higher quality service and to offer the latest technologies at the most affordable prices. For this purpose, we need to increase package prices in order to improve our service channels and infrastructure. If you wish, you can use the Turkcell app to review the packages that best suit you. I am presenting you with a precedent, and you say you have to raise the prices. If you can offer the same package to new customers, you should offer it to me as well. This is unfair, there is discrimination.
