Turkcell Cannot Issue Physical SIM Due To ID Chip Error - Line Unusable

I was using an e-SIM on my Turkcell line. Since my phone broke, I went to Turkcell branch about 15 days ago to switch to a physical SIM card. The staff member there said that the chip on my new ID card was faulty and therefore they could not issue a physical SIM. They did not accept my driver’s license as an alternative ID, and although I had my ID card with me, they refused to process anything just because the chip was malfunctioning. I cannot get an appointment at the civil registry office in my district due to heavy demand, and even if I manage to book one, receiving a new ID will take at least 10 days. During this period, I cannot use my line at all, no one can reach me, yet my bill continues to be charged regularly and I am forced to pay for a service I cannot use. Being unable to access my line solely because of a faulty ID chip—and not being offered any alternative verification solution—creates a major inconvenience for me. I request that Turkcell issue my physical SIM card using my driver’s license, my current ID, or another reasonable verification method, restore access to my line as soon as possible, and compensate me for the billing charges during the time I was unable to use my line. My number is 0542*****34. I am facing a serious problem and urgently need this resolved—my SIM card should not be dependent on a chip.
