Turkcell Corporate Contract Renewal Overcharge
In December 2022, Turkcell Corporate sent a field team to renew our contracts, promising X reductions if we subscribed to ten lines, each with its own quota. Despite our lack of necessity, they persuaded us and agreed to a payment of roughly ₺900. However, in January 2023, we received a bill for almost ₺2000, saying it was an error. Despite efforts to terminate the lines, a bill of more than ₺3500 was issued, alleging the commitment date was after termination. We insisted on analyzing phone recordings, which showed that our pledge had nothing to do with the discount termination. They claimed that disconnecting the lines stopped the discount. It felt like a comedy of blunders.
To finish the agony, we paid the ₺3500+ payment on March 24, 2024. On March 25, 2024, we received an SMS threatening legal action for an outstanding balance of ₺99.98. This has been nothing less than a nightmare. We're left wondering who to turn to for assistance in such a perplexing scenario.
