Requesting Refund After Trust Wallet Blocked Both My Balance and Insurance Payment

In February 2024, I experienced an issue while using the Trust Wallet app. Afterward, I received an email claiming to be from Blockchain, stating that I was entitled to a refund of $16,000. However, it also said I needed to make an insurance payment first. The link provided for communication was “Trust Wallet Support: https://***wallet.com.”

I was instructed to split the insurance payment into two parts, totaling $660. Half of the money was supposedly credited to my account in a blocked status, and I was told the remainder would be released after completing the insurance payment. Despite paying the full amount, both my original balance and the insurance payment remain blocked.

I have not been able to get any assistance through the official Trust Wallet support channels, and customer service has been unreachable. My issue remains unresolved. I am requesting a full refund of my money and a resolution to the problem I have experienced.
