Trip.com Wrongly Told Us Our Brussels–Warsaw Flight Was Canceled, Causing Double Booking

We purchased a ticket through Trip.com for the Brussels–Warsaw flight dated December 9, 2025. On November 22, 2025, we received an email stating that our reservation had been canceled. Because of this, we had to purchase a new ticket for the same route from a different website.

However, the next day we received another update saying that the reservation had actually been successfully made, and it turned out that the ticket was not canceled on Trip.com after all. As a result, we ended up with two separate tickets for the same flight. When we contacted Trip.com customer service, they told us that the flight was not canceled but that only the date had changed—and they asked us to pay an additional fee for this change.

We were put in a difficult situation due to receiving a cancellation notice first, and then being told the reservation was still valid. Because of this incorrect information and the mishandling of the process, we request that the ticket purchased through Trip.com be canceled and that the 75.39 PLN we paid be refunded.
