Regarding the airline ticket I purchased through Trip.com on December 3, 2025, I experienced a process that raised serious concerns about both my contact information and security. Because the contact details on my ticket were entered incorrectly, I had to contact the airline directly to correct my own information. After that, for nearly two days, I began receiving repeated SMS verification codes from Trip.com, as if someone were trying to access my reservation. Multiple verification code messages were sent even though I made no such request. Since these codes were sent without my consent, I believe there may have been unauthorized attempts to access my reservation through the system.
Additionally, it appears that the agency’s email address and phone number were entered into my reservation, particularly for the purpose of selling add-on services. When I contacted customer service to have this corrected, instead of resolving the issue, they attempted to sell me additional services such as automatic check-in. This situation gives the impression that my personal data is being used without my authorization and that actions are being taken on my reservation without my consent.
I request that Trip.com immediately stop any unauthorized or automated access attempts related to my reservation, discontinue the unnecessary sending of verification codes, ensure that my contact information remains exactly as I provided it, and refrain from making any changes to my reservation without my explicit approval going forward. I also request a clear written explanation of what occurred and confirmation that appropriate security measures have been implemented.
