Trip.com & Royal Air Scam, No Baggage, No Support

I bought a flight ticket from Manila to Caticlan in the Philippines through their site, only to realize after purchasing that the ticket didn't include checked baggage.
I immediately tried to contact the airline, Royal Air Philippines, but I couldn't reach them at all. What's worse, their website didn't even show that I had purchased a ticket! Then I tried to contact Trip.com, but I could only communicate with a useless bot. Their customer service agents were even worse, hanging up on me multiple times during our calls and never calling back.
I cannot believe a company that advertises so heavily and claims to be reputable has such abysmal communication problems and partners with such a terrible airline. As a result, I was forced to pay more than the ticket price just for my checked bag. I will never use either Trip.com or Royal Air Philippines again, and I will warn everyone I know to avoid them.
Trip.com, you need to compensate me for the extra baggage fee I was forced to pay due to your deceptive ticket information and non-existent support!
