Trip.com Charged More Than the Price Displayed During Checkout

On June 8, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., I purchased round-trip SunExpress airline tickets through Trip.com for travel on August 15–17, 2026.
During the booking process, both the shopping cart and the payment page clearly displayed a total price of ₺8,787. However, after completing the transaction, I discovered that ₺9,112 had been charged to my Yapı Kredi World credit card. This means that an additional ₺325 (approximately $8) was collected beyond the amount shown during checkout.
My reservation numbers are H3Q091 and H3Q092. Despite reviewing the booking details, I have not received any explanation regarding why this extra charge was applied. No additional fee, service charge, or adjustment was disclosed before the payment was processed.
I attempted to resolve the issue through Trip.com's live chat support, but I was unable to clearly communicate the problem or receive a satisfactory explanation. I also tried contacting customer service by phone, but I remained stuck in the automated response system and could not reach a live representative. In addition, I sent two separate emails regarding the issue and have not received any response to either message.
I am requesting the immediate refund of the excess ₺325 (approximately $8) that was charged above the displayed ticket price. The refund should be credited back to the same Yapı Kredi World credit card used to purchase the tickets. I also request a written explanation detailing why this additional amount was charged and confirmation once the refund has been processed.
As a customer, I expect pricing transparency and accurate billing. Charging a higher amount than the price displayed during checkout without any explanation is unacceptable and should be corrected without delay.
