I Booked Hilton on Trip.com and Missed Out on a Discount

On May 30, 2025, I made my first reservation through Trip.com for the Hilton Kozyatağı hotel and completed my payment. Less than an hour later, I noticed the same hotel package was being offered with a discount of over ₺1000. I immediately contacted customer service to request a refund of the difference or, at the very least, a complimentary breakfast as compensation for missing such a big discount within such a short time frame. Unfortunately, the customer service representative apologized but said they couldn’t do anything about it. As a first-time user, I find this practice unethical and very disappointing. This experience has completely discouraged me from using this platform again.
