Toyota Did Not Deploy Airbags in My Car During a Major Crash

On March 17, 2025, my vehicle with license plate 40 BF *** was involved in an accident on the Kırşehir-Kayseri highway near the Petlas area, in which three vehicles were damaged. After making contact with another vehicle on the left front fender, my car bounced on the spot and then veered to the right, scraping against the steel barriers for about 30 meters before coming to a stop. The vehicle sustained damage to the left wheel and fender, part of the hood, and the left front door, which could only be opened about 30 cm. On the right side of the vehicle, there is a deep scratch running continuously from the right front fender to the right rear fender. The appraiser determined the total damage to the vehicle to be ₺600,000. I have been happily driving this car for eight years and consider it safe enough to travel with my wife and children. Is it normal that none of the airbags deployed despite such an impact and damage? Could there be a malfunction? As Toyota Turkey, do you feel any responsibility in this situation? In light of the possibility that this matter may be taken to court, I request that you respond to my questions in writing.
