We purchased our 2025 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Galaxy Full Package from the Sonkar dealership in Istanbul, paying ₺2,280,000 in full. The car currently has 8,000 km and is under warranty. Normally, only two people use the front seats. When we came to Bodrum for the summer, while I was abroad, guests arrived from Paris. My wife seated one of the female guests in the rear right seat.

While driving with three people in the car, sudden “crack crack crack” noises came from the rear right seat, and the guest sitting there noticed her foot had been burned. This incident was documented with photographs at the time.

We immediately reported the issue to the Toyota service in Bodrum Konacık. After an inspection, the service claimed there was no electrical leakage or problem, providing us with a report before sending us away. We also contacted Toyota customer service, but they denied any defect and offered no support to address our grievance.

Since the incident, we no longer allow anyone to sit in the rear seat out of fear, which has negatively affected both our safety and peace of mind.

Given the seriousness of this safety hazard, I demand that the vehicle be replaced with a new one. We have suffered significant psychological distress and are concerned about using the car in its current state. I expect an urgent and satisfactory resolution from Toyota.
