Toyota Hilux 2020 Showed Warning Light at 6,000 KM and Dealership Failed to Fix It
My Hilux 2020 4x4 displayed a warning light at 6,000 kilometers. I took it in, and they said it was the DPF particle sensor and quoted me ₺25,000. Three months later, at 15,000 kilometers, I took it back, and this time they replaced the sensor. However, the warning light came on again the next day. When I returned, they said they cleaned the sensor, reinstalled it, and cleared the error, but the light came back on. My vehicle stayed in the dealership for a week with no updates. When I went back, they told me the injectors were faulty and the repair would cost ₺200,000. If the issue was with the injectors, why was the sensor replaced? How can injectors fail at 6,000 kilometers? The mechanical, engine, and transmission warranties are all a joke. Stay away from Toyota. They will make you regret spending your money. Toyota is a regret.
