I Cannot Receive TikTok SMS Code Due to Maximum Attempts Error
I am the owner of a TikTok account linked to my phone number. Recently, I lost my phone, and since then I have been trying to access my account using SMS verification. However, TikTok displays a “maximum attempts” type error and does not send any SMS verification code to my number. As a result, I am unable to receive verification codes and cannot log in using my usual phone number method.
Although I can still access my account through email backup, the SMS limit placed on my number is preventing me from using my primary login option. This situation is inconvenient and concerning, as it restricts normal access to my account.
I kindly request that TikTok remove the SMS sending limit or restriction on my phone number so I can once again receive verification codes and use my account without interruption. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to restore full access to my account.
