Ticombo Refused to Pay Me After My Buyer Successfully Attended the Match
I am writing to formally complain about Ticombo's handling of a completed ticket sale and the unjustified withholding of my payment.
As a registered seller on the Ticombo platform, I sold a ticket for the Aston Villa vs. Freiburg match held on May 20, 2026. The buyer was Christopher Tyler, who completed payment through the Ticombo platform. The order reference for this transaction is ATP2BO38F8.
To ensure a smooth transaction, I personally met the buyer in Istanbul and delivered the ticket directly. The buyer then used my ticket to enter the match without any problem. The ticket was valid, successfully transferred, and fully used for its intended purpose.
However, after returning to his country following the event, the buyer reportedly opened a dispute through Ticombo claiming that he never received the ticket or that the transfer did not occur. Based on this complaint, Ticombo immediately blocked my payment and later informed me that the transaction had been canceled and that the funds would be returned to the buyer.
This decision is completely unfair and ignores the reality of what happened. The ticket was delivered, the buyer attended the match using that ticket, and the event was successfully completed. Under these circumstances, there is no reasonable basis for refunding the buyer while denying payment to the seller who fulfilled all obligations.
I repeatedly contacted Ticombo support and explained the situation in detail. Rather than conducting a thorough investigation, I was effectively told to resolve the matter directly with the buyer. This response leaves me entirely unprotected as a seller, despite having complied with the platform's requirements and successfully delivered the ticket.
As a result, I have lost both the ticket and the payment. The buyer attended the event, yet I have received nothing. This outcome is unacceptable and fundamentally unfair.
I respectfully request that Ticombo immediately reopen and fairly review order ATP2BO38F8, cancel any refund process initiated in favor of the buyer, and release the full payment owed to me without any deductions.
I also request a written explanation of the evidence used to justify withholding my payment despite the buyer's successful entry to the match. The platform should protect honest sellers and thoroughly investigate disputes before taking action that causes financial harm.
If this matter is not resolved promptly and fairly, I reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies to recover the funds owed to me and to protect my rights as a seller.
I expect Ticombo to conduct a proper review of this case and ensure that the payment for this completed transaction is transferred to me without further delay.
