The North Face Warranty Complaint – Dragline Hood Lining Flaking Off

On August 2, 2023, I purchased a Men’s Dragline Jacket from The North Face’s official website. About a month ago, I noticed that the lining inside the hood began to peel and flake off.
Since the day I bought it, I have never dry-cleaned, washed, or applied any external treatment to the jacket. The issue clearly developed over time due to the material itself.
I reached out for support by visiting the store and emailing customer service, but I was informed that no action could be taken because the 2-year warranty period had expired.
This response contradicts The North Face’s global commitment to long-lasting durability and quality. The fact that the jacket deteriorated this quickly indicates a material or manufacturing defect, not user misuse.
I request that the jacket be technically re-inspected, and if a manufacturing defect is confirmed, that it be repaired or replaced. I expect a solution in line with The North Face’s global standards and customer satisfaction principles.
My order number is 25579-21423-518357.
