Temu Misled Me with Its Free Product Invite System and Kept Changing Requirements

My experience selecting a free product on Temu was a complete disappointment. I chose four products to try, and then it showed "Bonus." Out of 100 energy points, 99 were completed, and I just needed one more. It said, "Invite a friend, get a free product," so I started by inviting my mom, which dropped the required energy by one, leaving 0.5. I figured each invite was worth 0.5 energy, so I invited another person. That’s when things took a turn. The remaining energy dropped from 0.5 to 0.25, then to 0.15, and finally to 0.01. I started to lose my mind. I thought, "How much lower can this go? Maybe just one more person?" So I invited another, but instead of completing the requirement, a new energy calculation appeared, and my progress dropped from 100 to 50. That new system still required more invites to win. Frustrated, I contacted live support and asked how many invites were actually needed. Their response was that it wasn’t a fixed number. They are clearly misleading people.
