TEB Bank Refuses Restructuring Unless 30-Day Delinquency
I have been an active CepteTeb customer since 2018 and currently use their credit card, loan, and overdraft products. Until now, I have always made my payments on time, but for the past year, I have only been able to pay the minimum amounts. I currently owe around ₺830,000 in total and can no longer afford to pay this debt. I contacted CepteTeb customer service and also submitted a written request for debt restructuring, but no assistance was provided. Since there are no branches, I am forced to communicate through customer service, yet they keep redirecting me without offering a clear solution. They told me to stop making payments for 30 days and fall into default in order to qualify for restructuring, but I do not want to miss payments—I only want my request to be considered. My accounts are still active, with no restrictions or blocks, but customer representatives lack sufficient knowledge, and I have not received any response to my written request. I am requesting that a qualified specialist contact me urgently to resolve this issue. Otherwise, I will file a complaint with the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency. The last four digits of my account number are 1333.
