I am a salary customer of VakıfBank Ankara Emniyet Sarayı Branch. I have a total debt of approximately ₺900,000, consisting of a credit card registered in my name (around ₺70,000), an overdraft account (₺400,000), and various personal loans (around ₺400,000). My monthly loan installments are around ₺70,000–₺75,000, and interest on the overdraft account is also charged separately. My salary of about ₺70,000 is deposited into my account regularly every month. Since September 2024, as soon as my salary is deposited, your bank automatically collects almost the entire amount against my debts. This happens every month, leaving no balance in my account to cover my living expenses. I have verbally applied to your branch and customer service for debt restructuring, but I have consistently received negative responses. Although I am legally entitled to restructuring under the regulations, your bank has effectively prevented me from accessing this right. I request that my debts be restructured with a reasonable term (at least 48 months) and a low interest rate, allowing for installment payments. This would enable a portion of my salary to remain in my account for living expenses and allow me to repay my debts sustainably. I expect your bank to provide a lawful solution and respond positively to my urgent restructuring request. Furthermore, no solution has been provided and my request has been rejected for my “Bize Yazın” application number 9247*** and the application I made with my Turkish ID number 1245743****. With this practice, my legal right to restructuring is effectively being blocked, my entire salary is seized making it impossible for me to live, my debt burden is being increased, and I am being systematically victimized. I have the legal right to request restructuring and, although I want to repay my debts, I do not accept being denied this right. I expect an urgent solution.
