Swatch Watch Leaked Water – Expensive Repair Despite Warranty

My Swatch watch, despite being used lightly and without any impact, took in water. I sent it to service, and though it’s still under the 2-year warranty, I was told the repair would cost nearly as much as the watch itself. It’s baffling that a brand like Swatch would consider water leakage as outside the warranty coverage.

I bought this watch for its quality and reputation, but the lack of support and unwillingness to stand behind the product is disappointing. Potential buyers should be aware of these warranty limitations. Swatch, please reconsider this policy and provide a fair resolution for loyal customers.
