Hello, I recently made an online purchase, and my product was scheduled for delivery by Sürat Cargo. Surprisingly, I received a notification stating that it was delivered at 16:19. However, the cargo was nowhere to be found. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I asked my neighbor downstairs if she received it, but she didn't. I also checked if the cargo was left at my door, but it wasn't. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the delivery was supposed to come from the Yalova Çiftlikköy Branch.
When I called the branch seeking information, no one answered. Suspecting that my cargo might have been delivered to the wrong person, I took time off from work and went to the branch in person. After explaining the issue, an employee at the branch suggested that my product might have been picked up by someone else who mistook it for their own.
Upon further inquiry, I learned that my product was not in distribution; instead, it was still at the branch. Shockingly, the employee admitted they had left it near a window, leading to confusion. What baffles me is not just the mix-up at the branch but also the fact that I received a notification stating that the undelivered product had been delivered.
Despite filing a complaint with customer service, I doubt any action will be taken against the employee responsible for sending the misleading "Delivered" notification. However, I want to highlight the potential for others to face similar situations due to the branch employees' indifference and carelessness. Even lesser-known courier services haven't subjected me to such experiences.
Sürat Cargo may be a well-known courier, but it's disheartening to witness such operational lapses. I hope my complaint regarding this incident with Sürat Cargo is taken seriously, and necessary measures are implemented. An investigation has been initiated against the employee in question.
