I hired a tutor on Superprof, but they didn’t give the class — how can I demand an immediate refund?

First, you should use the Help Center or email to get in touch with Superprof help.

Tell them exactly which teacher you hired, when and where the class was supposed to happen, and that it never happened. Then, follow their refund policy and ask for a refund right away.

Superprof says that refunds for lessons booked on the site are sent to the bank account you used to make the reservation within 3 to 5 business days.

If they refuse, take things to the next level by filing a formal dispute with your payment provider, such as your credit card company, bank, or PayPal. As proof, include your conversation logs and screenshots.
